Troy Caruana

Troy Caruana is a Boston-based multi-instrumentalist and performer with well over a decade of live and studio experience, from small clubs to regional festivals. Performing on guitar, pedal steel, lap steel, and dobro, he works most often in the American roots tradition—covering country, folk, blues, bluegrass, and Americana—while adapting easily to diverse styles and settings.

He’s called for both tight projects and last-minute fill-ins, stepping into new situations and finding the right place in the mix. Troy adapts quickly to the needs of the music, locking in with the band and delivering the style, feel, and tone that serve the song. Troy has performed with artists including Nick Bosse & the Northern Roots, Ward Hayden & the Outliers, Rob Thackery, and many more. 

In addition to live work, he’s an in-demand recording musician with credits across New England and a featured track available on Spotify. Whether on stage or in the studio, Troy approaches each project with the goal of enhancing the music and helping artists achieve the sound they’re after.
